Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 2 Phase I Project was officially launched for passenger-carrying operation. This marks another significant achievement in HollySys's contribution to the Lanzhou Metro construction, following the Line 1 in 2019!
As contractor, HollySys provided services of supply, integration, and commissioning for ISCS, BAS and Access Control System. Meanwhile, HollySys supplied the first integrated station control room for Lanzhou Rail Transit. In addition, intelligent solutions, such as intelligent operation and maintenance system based on HollySys edge intelligent controller (EIC), intelligent patrol system based on video analysis technology, intelligent switch station, intelligent escalator passenger safety management system, are successfully applied in the project.
As a versatile intelligent control device within the edge control unit, it boasts functions including industrial bus connectivity, real-time control, and diagnostic analysis. It facilitates a profound integration of cutting-edge technologies, including comprehensive monitoring, video analysis, and big data analysis. This integration effectively save on equipment investment, conserve server room space, enhance operational efficiency, reduce operational costs, ensure safe operation, decrease energy consumption, and strengthen information security. This significantly elevates the intelligence level of the rail transit and further promotes the high-quality development of Lanzhou Metro.
The project began in October 2021 and, over the following 18 months, HollySys's project team showed a proactive and responsible approach. They efficiently managed product procurement, supervised project timelines, and overcame challenges. Consequently, they successfully completed critical tasks at multiple sites, meeting all Phase 1 construction requirements for Lanzhou Metro Line 2. This exceptional performance earned recognition from the users.
Lanzhou Metro Line 2 Phase 1 has opened smoothly with all system running well, showing HollySys's strength in rail transportation.
