On May 13, 2023, the first Beijing Yizhuang Tongming Lake Half Marathon was successfully held with 8,000 participants exploring the beautiful Yizhuang Lake area and witnessing the achievements of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area. This unique event, themed around technology, aimed to blend digital management and information technology while also raising public awareness of cutting-edge tech. HollySys, a key partner, offered significant support, making the Tongming Lake Half Marathon even more exciting. Moreover, over 30 colleagues and their families from our group took part in this memorable event.
On race day, the previous night's light rain filled the morning air with the scent of damp earth. Half-marathon runners in orange and fun run participants in green gathered near Tongming Lake Park, enhancing the beauty of Yizhuang with the vibrant colors of their outfits and the roadside flowers.
During the race, participants motivated and supported each other, reducing the exhaustion of running. This highlighted their strong athletic spirit and teamwork. Impressively, all fun run participants finished within an hour, and the fastest half-marathon runner completed the race in just 1 hour and 58 minutes. Their determination and resilience in achieving their goals were evident, reflecting the company's spirit of unity and cooperation.
